Trusted Athens senior living community introduces new name while maintaining the same team and care
Athens, GA — A trusted senior living community in Athens is entering a new chapter. Formerly known as Legacy Village at Athens, the community is now operating as Hearthwood at Athens, under the management of Vitality Living.
While the name is new, the people and care residents and families rely on remain the same. “There’s a strong sense of familiarity and comfort here that residents and families immediately recognize,” said Melissa Chupp, Executive Director “This next chapter allows us to preserve that feeling while thoughtfully enhancing the experience for everyone who calls this community home.”
The name Hearthwood at Athens reflects the sense of connection at the heart of the community. Inspired by the warmth and gathering place of its central fireplace, it evokes an environment where residents feel at home and connected to one another. With close ties to the University of Georgia, the community is also deeply connected to the broader Athens community.
Hearthwood at Athens offers assisted living and memory care services, with personalized care plans, comfortable apartments, dining, and daily programming designed to support independence and connection. Located in the Athens area, the community provides convenient access for local families while offering a setting that feels both welcoming and home-like.
